เมื่อวันที่ 20 สิงหาคม ที่ผ่านมา คุณพรเสริฐ ศรีอรทัยกุล ประธานกรรมการบริหาร ชมรมผู้ค้าอัญมณีไทยและเครื่องประดับ และคณะกรรมการชมรมฯ, คุณยุทธศิลป์ เตยะราชกุล นายกสมาคมเพชร พลอย เงินทอง, คุณเกษม นิทัศนจารุกุล อุปนายกสมาคมผู้ค้าอัญมณีไทยและเครื่องประดับ และคุณอธิชัย เจริญธรรมานนท์ เลขาธิการสมาคมฯ ร่วมคณะเดินทางไปจังหวัดภูเก็ต เพื่อร่วมกิจกรรมโครงการเดินสายพบปะสมาชิกชมรมฯ ในจังหวัดเศรษฐกิจสำคัญของประเทศไทย เพื่อเป็นการสร้างภาพลักษณ์ให้กับสินค้าไทยและเพิ่มช่องทางตลาดแก่ชุมชนที่เป็นแหล่งท่องเที่ยวที่สำคัญของประเทศ นอกจากนี้ได้มีโอกาสเข้าพบหารือปัญหาและอุปสรรคของอุตสาหกรรมอัญมณีและเครื่องประดับในจังหวัดภูเก็ต ร่วมกับ คุณทรัพย์สิน ภูผา รองประธานหอการค้าไทย จังหวัดภูเก็ต และคุณอุทิศ ลิ่มสกุล ผู้ช่วยผู้อำนวยการการท่องเที่ยวแห่งประเทศไทย สำนักงานภูเก็ต
JFC’s Visit to Phuket
On the 20th August 2016, Mr. Pornsert Sriorathaikul, Chairman of the Jewel Fest Club (JFC) and its committee, together with Mr. Yutasilp Tayarachakul, President of the Jeweller Association, Mr. Kasem Nitasnajarukul, Vice President of the Thai Gem and Jewelry Traders Association (TGJTA) and Mr. Athichai Charoenthamanont, TGJTA’s SecretaryGeneral, headed to Phuket, one of the economically important provinces in Thailand. The main purpose of the trip was to visit the JFC’s members and introduce the JFC, and distribute its latest publication “Thailand’s the Best Gems & Jewelry Guidebook,” which is supported by the Tourism Authority of Thailand to help consumers buy Thai gems and jewellery with confidence. The Jewel Fest Club also had the opportunity to meet and exchange ideas about gems and jewellery retail business and Phuket tourism with Mr. Subsin Phupha, Vice Chairman of the Phuket Chamber of Commerce, and Mr. Uthit Limsakul, Assistant Director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand, Phuket Office. The JFC plans to continue moving along the Gems Route in Thailand and have more members to promote consumer confidence and trust in Thailand’s gems and jewellery products and trade.
