The 18th Annual General Meeting of the Jewel Fest Club at Holiday Inn on 27th January 2016 has reinforced its commitment of confidence ensured and quality guaranteed to consumers of Thailand’s Gems and Jewelry. As a non-profit organization, founded in 1997 under the co-operation and supervision of the Thai Gem & Jewelry Traders Association (TGJTA) and the Tourism Authority of Thailand(TAT), Mr. Pornsert Sriorathaikul, the chairman opened the meeting saying to the members and committee that JFC was proud to achieve its goals to build standards and quality of goods and services as well as ethics and trade responsibility under the collaboration between the government and private sectors. The meeting was concluded that JFC will thrive for the high standards and quality of products and related services along with the creation of sellers’ awareness and responsibility to ensure utmost fair deal for consumers. Also, the JFC new committee 2016-2017 was appointed from the members and the association in the meeting.
New Year Party Celebration was followed afterwards. Four new members, B.G & J Co.,Ltd. S P S Gems- Jewelry Co.,Ltd. Aurora Design Co.,Ltd. and Royal Gems Phuket Co.,Ltd. were invited to the JFC new membership certification giving ceremony. Attendees enjoyed its Guest Speakers Talks. Dr. Pornsawat Wathanakul, director of the Gem & Jewelry Institute of Thailand gave a talk about the future of Thailand Gems and Jewelry 2016-2017. Another interesting topic was conducted by Mr. Jirat Kornchakornrat, the famous astrologer who predicted about the Thai Gems and Jewelry Industry Situation based on world economy.
